Having received no literature when purchasing my boat as a repo in Fla. I have been curious about the fuel capacity of my single tank under the deck. Several folks have suggested it to be 150 gals.
Today I got the inspection port open in the deck and looked around as best I could. Luckily the gauge location is right there under the inspection port.
I managed to get a tape measure in all directions. Turns out to be 54"wide, 34" deep and 18" high. Using all of my fingers and toes that converts to 19.1 CF. and at 7.5 gals/CF it equals 143.5 gals. Pretty damn close and good enough for the girls I go with.
It is a commercially made aluminum tank made in West Covina, Cal. Looks to be very good quality. I hope so as I will have to take the chain saw to the boat to get it out. I flushed a bunch of fresh water over it to clean out any "mung" that may have accumulated under it. Not much came out.

Or you could subtract 1/8" wall thickness as a guess and use 53.75*33.75*17.75/231 =139 gal and hope for maybe 130 gal usable.

We have two 75 gallon tanks on the Tomcat. I was on the way to the fuel dock once when I ran out of gas on the starboard motor. I had only used 125 gallons and was not so pleasantly surprised. We made it in on the other motor alone, but after that we only figure on 130 gallons of usuable gas.

I'm not sure what tank C-Dory used, but for a monohull, I'd bet on the same tank as a C-25. That tank isn't a rectangular cube, and it's got cutouts, or at least the ones I saw at the factory did. So they claim 100 gal, and the most I've been able to put in is 80 gal. Good luck.

Boris,

When I first filled my 25 after it was shipped we put in almost 110 gallons. The label on the tank says 107 gallons so I would have to say that was pretty close to being true. The most I have put in after a trip is 79 gallons so I use for planning purposes 100 gallons.

I have never filled the tank as it would break the bank, at least my bank.
I am going to use 100 gals for planning until I know more definite info. about the capacity.
It is getting time to cover it up for the winter again..........I hate doing that more than anything.
