|
|
Anyone know for sure the diameter of the bow rail on a 2004 22' Cruiser? I'm guessing it is 1". I am looking to get a flag socket and they are availabe for a 1" and 1 1/4" rail. I suppose a 1" would work with a 1 1/4" rail, but I would rather get the correct one, since they are expensive. Too mathematically challenged to measure
Thanks
John

John, I'd guess 1" as well. The TC stern rails are 1 1/4 but not sure about the other end.

OK, I can say without fear of contradiction that the bow rail on my
2004 Cruiser is 1", which suggests a high probability that yours is
as well. I just confirmed the above with my dial caliper. _________________ Mark on Mighty Bite |

Bought the 7/8"-1" socket. It comes with a spacer if you have a 7/8" rail. With no spacer, there is approximately a 1/8" gap between socket halves. Leads me to believe that the rail is 1 1/8". They do make a 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" socket, but returning what I have is not worth it - shipping costs and all that - one of the hazards of buying online. Works fine as is.

Wow, now we've seen all three sizes on a 22 Bow Rail.
7/8" 1" and 1 1/4"
So much for "standardization"
