during this past weekend boating trip i had to switch over the fuel connection from one portable gas tank to the other. i did so, and about 10 minuets later, or thereabout, the engine stopped running. wouldn't restart, so with that i thought it was bad gas from last year. just for the fun of it, i unscrewed the connection from the top of the plastic gas tank, as i lifted the fitting off the tank i notice the hose, running from the connection to the bottom of the tank had fallen off. quick fix, attached the hose and secured it with a ss hose clamp. runs great now!
might be a good idea to secure the other tank hose with a ss hose clamp, as well.
no big deal just thought i would share this minor boat stopper.
