I have a washdown cockpit system and want to replace the leaking hose. The hose has a "air compressor type" male nozzle which fits into the female recepticle near the on/off switch. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement?

You have several options. One is to cut off the hose which is on the fitting, and purchase a self curling hose, which is available in bulk from West Marine. Another is an adaptor which allows any standard hose to be used. A standard brass air hose fitting gives a good seal on my Tom Cat--so it should work on your boat--and that can be used with any set of adaptors you wish. The pump is a Shurflo--But I don't see that Shurflo makes this specific fitting currently.

I'm no expert on this, but air hose fittings come in two varieties, as I understand it.

One is an automotive type, as used in that service industry, ......

and the other in an industrial type, used in factories in industrial applications.

They look somewhat alike, to a casual observer, but of course won't interchange.

So, take your fitting with you if you have to change and/or match it up.
