Perhaps I need to work harder at bleeding air out of the system, but it has become harder to turn the wheel lately. If I keep the wheel in motion (back and forth) it doesn't happen but if I don't turn the wheel for a little while it seems as though it sticks in that spot and requires a lot of torque on the wheel to move the motors again.
Everything is well greased up.
Anybody had this kind of thing happen?

The first thing I would do is disconnect the steering cylinder from the motor tiller arm. Then determine if the motor swings side to side freely. If the motor is not binding, then turn the steering wheel and see if the cylinder moves freely.
This test should isolate the problem to either the steering system or to the motor swivel bearings.
The other place for a problem is the sliding bolt that connects the steering cylinder to the motor's tiller arm. That bolt moves for-and-aft in a slot as the steering cylinder moves side to side.
Be sure that the rod that the steering cylinder moves on is clean. _________________ Larry H
