These are two projects I’ve managed to complete in the last couple of weeks, more pictures under Triple J projects in my album.

Mount two Scotty triple rod holders up top each side for storage only. This came together nicely and seconds as a hand hold. Used ¼ “aluminum plate buffed out with 200 grit ceramic buffer pad on 4.5” side-arm grinder. The rod holder is situated so fishing poles are easy to reach.

Manuel wiper for center window. Again this turned out better than anticipated. The handle has plenty of clearance and I can still open the window. It’s annoying when the center window gets obscured with moisture, look forward to trying it out.

Jay,
When I first got my 1983 22' CD I did not like the fact that the center windshield only had a manual wiper and the port side had an electric. I never looked out the port side so I switched the electric to the center windshield and the manual to the port.
That gave my 1st mate a chore to do when in heavy going and the electric kept my center window clear.
Jack.

Often thought about a wiper for the center wndow. Yours looks good. What happens when you open the window? I assume the arm pivots enough to allow the window to open or do you move the wiper to the side?

Rick

You can move it to the side but the window will open 3/4 of way just fine.
