AwMan, this is ~Sounding~ really good  If haven't been so bad on the sites in the past I might find courage to make extra effort to show up  . I don't know; would be a great way to say "goodby" to the Sound though 
Got a container on the way, packin' for the move is lookin' more like a reality   Might need a break by then.
For us on the western part of the Sound: The mangy basterds in WhittiotVill (owners of the parking) are now charging 10 dollars a day for parking   I hope they get some competition some day soon!! I'd charge about 1/4th that amount if i were going into the business down there  |

Now what I want to know is, is this "Naked" or "Nekkid"? "Naked" means you ain't got no clothes on. "Nekkid" means you ain't got no clothes on and you up to no good! (Apologies to the Blue Collar Comedy Channel!)

Hey Greg, are you gonna' make the Naked Island gig, or are you going to keep us guessing. Shucks Man, you only go around once and this is big time!
Seriously, if you can work it in we would sure like to see the "Legend of PWS" flying the pirate colors naked...........errr, whoops, I mean "at" Naked.
I'm going to be looking for the Red Fox!

But Mark, I done-took-down my old pirate flags in place of a Alaska State flag now... . Maybe I'm goin' soft and not so much fun anymore  ...
Really though; I will try my friend, and hope I ain't goin' through one of my Howard Hues impersonations again during the gig and just clam up 
I'm really interested in continuing-on to Cordova if I show 
Now: There will be no pickin RedFox's brains about fishing!! Them are the rules... I might volunteer it, if I don't step in anyones dog poop on the shores ...    
There's a 40-foot hi-cube can (container) sitting in the driveway as-we-speak. It's moving time...  I can't believe how much crap 30-some years of living here can accumulate Are ya with me son... still there...  |

Greg, we'll look the Red Fox, pirate flag or not. I'm setting in Valdez right now. We took a short run out to Sawmill bay and it was kind of neat. 3 C-Dory's from Fairbanks were in the bay........no other boats.
3rd Byte, DogOnDory and Lee Ann a new 25'er.
Weather is nice and hopefully will stay.

Ok....Sounds Goooood, coffee and burgers are particularly enticing. Curious......are those 1/4# or Alaskan (1/2#ers). Paige's burgers and DogOnDan's specially formulated Kona Express, WOW..such a deal!
For anyone coming down, I am staying at #11 at the Bayside RV Park in Valdez and 3rd Byte is in slip F-18. As Dan noted we will be ready to depart the harbor at 8:00AM Saturday the 2nd of July. Come on down/over and give us a shout. I'm going to be here all week.
Hey Greg, you wiley 'ole fox, you can come without the pirate flag. We won't think you've gone soft on us. Maybe a little strange....but never soft. |

Bad news for catdogcat..
While fishing in Halibut Cove Lagoon last Saturday I messed up and hit a gravel bar.
Wasted my prop and bent my prop shaft on the new Yamaha.  . The boat is now sitting at Kachemak Gear Shed awaiting parts and a spendy repair. Had to get towed back to Homer. Luckily my Uncle was there to save my butt. I told them to Fed Ex the parts but it's unlikely that I 'll have it back in time for the Naked trip. This is really disappointing when I really wanted to meet all you guys and show off all the mods I've done.
I hope you guys will take lots of pictures for me to look at and cry myself to sleep to.
I'll be posting some pics of the wasted prop soon for your laughing enjoyment. |

CDC - So sorry to hear that. The prop is bad enough, but the shaft is almost too much to take.

It is looking like the Sundog Crew will be showing up along with a non C-Dory boat - a Sea Sport - will he survive?
I am hoping to be heading out of Whittier this Thursday in the afternoon and will go to Naked if the weather is good, otherwise, maybe I will stop on Perry or something like that. Anyway - I should be out to Naked by Friday Night anyway.
CDC - sorry to hear about your new motor, I have almost hit bottom in Halibut Cove before.
