For the sake of the archives I thought I would repost this under Fuel Systems. The large 58 gallon aluminum tank that was an option in the early to mid-1990s was made by:

Skyline Industries
381 West Center
Pleasant Grove, Utah 84062
(801) 785-3534

The schematic below was included in the boat papers I received with the boat and contain all of the dimensions etc. I suppose if Skyline is still in business they could make one.

Photo of the tank:

The center cutout in the picture doesn't match the cutout in the diagram. What am I missing?
Thanks for posting this.

Your right -- the one on my boat is the same as the diagram. The photo of the tank is the one off a '93 on Craigslist (from a different thread).

I saw a boat a few years ago, with the aluminum tank which looks like the one in the photo off Craig's list. I suspect that the raised tunnel gives better access to the plug and bilge pump.

It is true. I had a devil of a time getting my aft bilge pump installed, and I can only reach my plugs from the outside. The extra room would have been appreciated. I don't know when they made the change -- the schematic was drawn in 1988 according to the drawing -- and my boat is a 1994. Maybe the tanks were hanging around the shop... BTW: I've only filled the tanks completely once -- and it lasted almost all summer. I now fill no more than 3/4 -- and that's for a week in Catalina. My last day out -- a 40 mile run between Ventura and Anacapa and back and I used 1/4 tank on one side -- 1/8 overall. 58 gallons is a big tank for this little machine.
