I would go Evinrude ETEC. Because it's at least 100 pounds lighter, less maintenance, efficient, less moving parts and reliable. My new 90HP ETEC has a first maintenance schedule of 3 years. If your in the north and need to winterize it's all done automatic. But the big thing that sold me was the 100 pounds lighter and a little less money. I priced and search for 3 years before the purchase. My 1990 22 foot C-Dory is a light boat and that extra 100 pounds on the transom is just too much for that boat.
