It looks like the salmon might finally be coming in from the ocean. Creel checks at Sekiu are in a big upswing.
The following photos were taken of Orcas fishing off San Juan Island.

Heard the same thing two weeks ago, just prior to the Everett Coho Derby. Spent all day Saturday trolling outside, from the shipwreck across to Whidbey then north etc....it was a nice boat ride.  _________________ "We can go over there...behind the 'little one'....."

The fish are in the sound, at least the last time Tom and I went fishing a couple of weeks ago. However, they're suffering from a malady commonly known as "lockjaw". For some reason, once they enter the sound headed for the rivers, they are not in an eating kind of mood.
I wish I had that malady...

I found one on the lower Cowlitz last weekend out of my driftboat, but this weekend I'm taking C-Dawg to chase 'em in Grays Harbor. _________________ Rick & Shirley
