New to the site, lots of good info here, my first question....
Im considering a kicker for my 16 angler, anyone used an 8hp it seem like it may be a tight fit, its not much heavier than the 6 hp. Im not a big fan of 1 cylinder engines and all the 4 stroke 6hp and under are 1 cylinders. Having said that Ive used any new model 1 cylinders perhaps they are better now???
Yamaha 8 86lbs 20 inch shaft all
yamaha 6 60lbs
tohatsu 8 83lbs
tohatsu 6 57lbs _________________ "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery"

My fishing buddy ha the Tohatsu 8hp on his 16 angler, loves it. It will fit, and with the 8hp you can get electric start and it has a alternator on it
