I just added some new mood lighting for the boat. Here's a video of them and a description on my youtube page.

They will be nice for the fireworks next year. I've also posted a bunch of other videos recently if you want to see.

dumb question! lights look great but do they interfere with navigational running lights?
i am changing out many of my accessory lighting, 12v10wperko#70-0 bulbs for a bright led festoon light bulb. they will not emit 360 degrees and therefore will not interfere with night vision or running lights. i've purchase red, blue and green. total 10 cost $30.00 from
www.superbrightleds.com . should receive them within one week. i currently have factory installed under water lights attached to the swim platform and all who have seen them love them. where did you get your lights and if you don't mind sharing what expense where they?
thanks
pat

Hey Pat. HERE is an alternative, maybe for both of you! I would think the nav light question may be a big one if these are anywhere they can be seen from outside the boat... Disgust

In addition, most of these, if not all of them, are 110V which means you need an inverter. A small one, true, because LEDs take little current!

I don't intend to use them while moving and the kit was a 110 volt setup but I cut off the transformer which output conveniently to 12 volt dc. That made the adaptation easy.
