Almost hit a Green Marker Buoy today...some-one was looking after me.ha!ha!..Was heading down the river and going about 18 mph.... I saw the green marker on my GPSMap and visually...pass by it almost ever day. I don't known what happened....(probably a lapse in concentration )..i lost sight of it behind the anchor/bowroller setup and thought i had passed by it. Well i hadn't...i don't know how close you can get to something without hitting it but i am talking inches if even that.Has anyone else experienced problems seeing over the bowroller and anchor while navigating. |

I "buried my anchor" and roller today coming in from fishing after getting caught out in high wind and waves. The waves were 5-6 footers and the bow was diving into the next wave and going in over the anchor. Traveling in a following sea.
Had friends on board from Ontario who had never been out in the salt water before.
We did not go out in that. It came up after being out and anchored up.
The CD did just great. _________________ On the HIGH TIDE-II, wife Carolyn and I.....Another summer fishing on the HIGH TIDE II in the Cook Inlet at Cape Ninilchik, Alaska.

Tug, if you look for it and it's that close to you, you'll never see it. Sometimes you will "hear" it though....
