My two granddaughters enjoy the boat. The dinette table's corners always seemed too sharp and at just the right height to do damage to a 3 or 8 year old as they scramble and rock about the cabin. The old table was used as a pattern and a new rounded corner version was glued and screwed together.
Another clever C-Brat had posted photos of a sliding bolt securing their table when using it in full surface (rear facing seat) mode. This looked like a simple, neat and secure concept. So, many thanks to the originator of the idea. I have copied the concept and am pleased with how well it works. At least until one of the grands discovers how much fun it is to pull the bolt and watch the contents of the table go flying! Pictures in the album.
