Hello everyone.
I am looking for a high quality remote controlled search light to mount up on the bow rail. And I know nothing about search lights. Any suggestions?

My light is a GO LIGHT . One of the wired versions mounted on the front of my radar pedestal. Wires come down through the pedestal. Have not used it much but if I need it, it's there. If the glare bothers me, I'll put some plumbing insulation on the bow rail.

There has been a bit on the site about this recently. Generally the Go, the Jabsco Golight, and Guests are the ones used. You can spend anywhere form about $100 to well over $1000. Just consider how much you will use a search light, and how even a few seconds use will damage your light vision for a number of minutes.
The Jabsco 135 SL remote control is in the mid $100's and one I have used on a couple of boats. But on the C Dories I have owned, only potable lights. _________________ Bob Austin
