Looking to replace my steering. Could someone tell me the teleflex kit that replaces the existing one. I have a 2006 Honda BF 50. Thanks for any help! |

I just ordered the replacement kit for my 16' angler and it had a 15' cable in it. There was a number on my cable that had a "180" in it which appears to be the cable length in inches. So you might be able to get the cable length that way (or remove it and measure it). Otherwise it is just a Teleflex NFB Safe-T II System that is supposed to be a drop in replacement. I'm supposed to get it Thursday from West Marine so I will find out then if it actually does just bolt in.

The cruiser steering wheel is set further back than the angler if I'm not mistaken. That would make the cable shorter. I bought a nfs for my last boat from the Overtons catalog. There was a chart in there to determine the proper length. And it was the cheapest place around. _________________ I am the 125% I work so the 99% don't have to.
