Nice fish!
I've read that you have to put in 100hrs just to land one. You'd think that in 10 outtings with 4 guys we'd land one by now.... _________________ And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. - Abraham Lincoln |

OK, who gonna be the WiseGuy to make a remark about it taking 100 hours to land a hooked fish?
(Really means it takes about an average of 100 hours to get a good bite and a hooked fish on, not 100 hours to land it.)

Great fish, my favorite stomping grounds. Definitely have to put your time in to get them. Used to be happy with 1 keeper per day with 3-4 guys fishing.
What bait?? Big tide??
Perfect time, after big rain, muddy water. _________________ Soon to join C-Dory owners |

Bait was Lamprey and ghost. The tide was in the middle of the big outgo...30 feet of water....took about 25 minutes to land. |

Nice fish. With only a 1/2" to spare on the size, you definitely wanted to hold that one horizontally until you got it home, so it didn't stretch a 1/2" between when you and the gamie measured it! _________________ Roger on Meant to be |
