Of particular interest to me is the suggested curcuit protection guide that pops up when the protction side is filled in. I think you need to calculate the left side stuff first.

So, how do they expect me to know the "allowable voltage drop"? I know or can calculate the other stuff, but shouldn't they be providing ME with information about the allowable voltage drop?

3% for panelboard feeds, bilge blowers, electronics, and nav lights.

10% for general lighting and other non-critical items.

One of the nice things about the chart is that as you go to each input box the "help area" kind of explains it. Also, it will work even if a lot of inputs are left blank.
