Thought you would all want to know about the Everett Boat Launch closure.
The 10th street Everett boat launch will be closed beginning January 25 for dredging. The dredging will begin January 27, 2010 and continue 24 hours a day 7 days a week with work expected to be completed by Febuary 25. A possible 2 week extension may be necessary. _________________ Thomas J Elliott

Thanks Tom.
Is that so you won't be dragging bottom when you come in with all those fish on board?

something like that. last year there was several days of low tide that the ramp was not useable. several people, not me, got stuck in the mud ten feet from the dock. Once was during a opener and 40 boats were tied up to docks waiting for the tide to come in. |

I launched a couple of times last year when it was like Tom describes above. That was when the 4 Wheel Drive made the task a non-issue! I would not have attempted it without the 4 WD capability. Those without the 4 WD just watched in envy as I launched without effort. _________________ Dave S.

Especially the southern most launch ramp. That thing was pretty much a dry beach @ low tide! _________________ "We can go over there...behind the 'little one'....."
