nice fish, my only halibut has came while trolling for salmon 50 ft off the bottom. Hope that is a good sign for the coming season. _________________ Thomas J Elliott

Nice, now if only you can duplicate that on the opener. I remember hearing from Ron Gardener, that they start migrating back out in the spring and we just catch them in the straight on their way out. All my butt's have been in the straight, sure would be nice to do it closer to home. Especially since with the 16 my weather window is much narrower.
