Just got done watching a segment of our evening news which talked of flood waters in the Snoqualmie River in the Falls City area. Thats right in the back yard of our friends Pat, Patty, Austin, and Oscar Anderson. The news folks talked of other rivers up in that area that many of our friends live or work around. Judy and I send our best to everyone up north and will keep our thoughts and prayers with you that all will subside and no damage will come to any of you our your neighbors.

Good Luck, Tim & Judy

Hopefully Big Roger is doing well as he lives right next to the Stillaguamish River where it dumps into the bay. I just got off the phone with Carol who earlier said that she might go out to do some shopping and I cautioned her about getting "caught" on the wrong side of the Stillaguamish R. and having to wait for receding waters to get home. (Now she's going to rethink the shopping venture.....for tonight at least).

At work presently with sandbags already loaded on an Army surplus 6X6. Always Ready.... Wink

(Spent a couple of hours after dark Tuesday doing additional training piloting our Hovercraft in the Stillaguamish River getting ready for these times of the year).

well, with all this wind and the high tide today I was able to look out my kitchen window and see ducks swimming in the river . their heads were above the levee and that is high water. went out onto the dike and the water was about 2 inches from the top. not to worry tho, the tide went out and now there is about 12 ft down to the water line....lol....
we have had our share of rain here. I dumped the rain guage today. there was 4.3 inches in it. this was 2 weeks accumulation.

Roger and 'Lisbeth -
Whew, one foot of leeway isn't a lot of freeboard -- keep your heads above the tide -- we're thinking of you guys.

Thanks for thinking of us - we live half way up the side of a pretty good hill, well above the valley floor, so no danger to us or our boat. Last night the flood waters on the valley floor were pretty much confied to low lying farm fields. Oddly enough, our TV news was reporting on the high waters in Cannon Beach!
