I am new to boating so I hope this is not a foolish question. When you put the boat in the garage why do you lean it on its side? |

LOL, Good question.
It's to drain all the water out...lol
And he wants the floor space.
The pic is actually turned sideways. |

the 16' just fits better on its side (also demonstrates amazing secondary stability in the original c-dory) |

Thanks. I knew someone would give me a serious answer. I kinda thought it was so the boat could drain but that begs the obvious question. In the southern hemisphere would you put the boat on the other side? Apologize for the thread hijack. Guess I got up on the smarta$$ side of bed this morning. |

Hello,
We live in Iowa (on the Mississippi River) and have restored a 22 Classic.
Being a Cancer survivor and after 24 rounds of chemo I am easily chilled and do not use my Lund fishing boat to fish from.
I am interested in your 16' since I could get some protection while out fishing and could handle the boat by myself.
I would appreciate more photos if possible.
My e-mail is ron@ronfisher.com
Regards,
Ron Fisher |

Hello again,
Yes, we are interested in your boat.
I/we have never actually seen a 16" C-Dory and are interested in seeing as many photos with details and conditions before considering the 1285 mile trip to your location.
Any and all details appreciated.
Please advise.
Thank you

Ron and Connie-
I'd suggest you go to the "Our C-Dorys" link above, which features member C-Brats photo albums, and look around within some of the CD-16 albums. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of photos of CD-16 Anglers there, including lots of modifications/customizations that can be done.
Good Luck!
