Since we missed the Snohomish River dealie, I was getting a little nervous that November might break our string of being out every month since getting Daydream. Not to fear, took a nice little day trip on Lake Washington today with Patty, Austin and Oscar. Beautiful fall day, launch at Mercer Island, water flat as a pancake, run up to Kenmore, where, amazingly, there is not a durn thing to see - I assumed I would at least see a bunch of Kenmore Air seaplanes or something. Back down to Webster Point, through the cut to the outside fish bar at Ivar's Salmon House, then easy run back to Poverty Rock. Boy, am I relieved! Used up my quota of fossil fuel for the month! _________________

Good for you, Pat and Patty and Austin and Oscar! Next time you're around Kenmore, you should look up our newest member on SeaDNA. He lives over that way. I think you might have ticked him off calling his town boring. Hey - some (most) people like it that way!
I hope our town stays boring. They are wanting to build a big LNG plant right at the end of the channel to my mooring basin. That will bring the Homeland Security boys to the neighborhood. I wonder how big an exclusion zone they will need around the tankers coming down the river.
Oops - off topic. I still have nightmares about that.
Glad to hear your string is intact. _________________ TyBoo Mike

Nope - Pat got it right. Not much to see in Kenmore... but we like it that way. Spent most of today reorganizing the boat ("petting the tackle" as the wife calls it). It's amazing how many things can get out of place in a season of fishing. Looking to get out for BM on Fri after turkey day. Probably will launch from Everett and hit Gedney. Any reports from there this weekend?

Welcome to the Pub, Roger! Petting the tackle? You're gonna fit right in here!
Maybe see you at the boat show and CB Convention? |

We were out on Gedney checking on the cabin Sunday and there were only 2 boats fishing out there so the fishing can't be too great. |

We missed the Snohomish cruise too. Janet and I went up the river a bit, then back out for a lap around Gedney (Hat Is. to us locals) Sunday afternoon. We did not see the Hailey's Comet! We are going up to the San Juans after Turkey Day. _________________ Janet & Chris without CD22 Luna C
