If you want to restore the color to your heavily oxidized painted brow (over the front windows) get 3M Marine Restorer and Wax. Holy Mackeral! It's hard to believe it works so fast and easy. Just aply a thin coat and rub lightly (not hard, or it will remove some color). One simple application will make you a believer. Also good for a whole boat application. I like to finish off with a top coat of Collinite wax. _________________ MartyP

Thanks for the tip. I picked up my new to me 2007 a week ago and found the brow on my red Dory to look pink, well that just would not work for me. I used Maquires restore and wax. It did help some, however not as good as I had hoped. Will give the 3m a test |

I've used the 303 stuff on Wild Blue, followed with a good coat of wax with good results. The brow certainly seems to be the area that dulls first. I'll try the 3M Restorer and Wax when we get home. Thanks for the tip.
Best wishes,
Jim |

Hmmmmm. For those of you located in remote areas (such as central Montana) and many miles from anything that smacks of a marine store. I have found Watkins organic concentrate to get the brow looking like new with little effort. John _________________ hopelessly addicted C-Dory user |
