The C-dorys are having fun also that’s probably why you don’t see any in the harbor. Laughing
If your cruise takes you to Whittier toward the end of the week look for the Triple J, we’ll be headed out for a 3 day weekend Thursday night.

Enjoy

It was bad enough that you escaped your friends and the beautiful heat wave of SW Hot Florida, but now you have to brag about it. Acting like you are on a C-Dory Factory excursion doing a poll on C-Dory's in use in the Great North West. Wink

I hope Loree is having a wonderful time. Razz

Keep the travel log going...report in on a regular basis. Let us know if the ship runs out of food because of you. Your only missing the same old thing here ....heat so don't rush back until about September.

Congrats Jim.... I guess this is your first real I am a retired guy trip?? You deserve it.

Ya know, I have often wondered.... if they had a big mother ship, and let us hoist our boats as tenders......and stay in each bay/area/inlet for a couple/few nights.... now just how neat of a cruise would that be?

Hummmm.

Enjoy..and keep posting.

Enjoying Alaska Mike be back by Aug 10-12

OK guys.....some time, some year....we are just going to have to make a convoy..... drag our boats up there and do some of this NW travel.

Yes Jim... I loved my trip up thru the inside passage....but, it was also on a ship. Got on as a passenger, off as cargo. What great food...and not a lot of activity. Just great views everywhere.

Sure would be nice to plunk around in our own boats for a spell.

Yall take in the trip and enjoy Jim. Safe travels and send pics.

Hi Jim,
Just want to let you know we will be looking for you to pass Sequim on your way back. Probably early morning though, and in the fog. We go out each weekend evening to watch the cruise ships go out and wish and remember our trip up there. I'd do that one again, but need to figure out how to toss a line of the stern so we could drag the C-Dory along behind and then do our own daytime (shore ) activities Wink

Travel safe, enjoy and keep keeping us posted. (BTW, are you carrying a Handheld VHF to hail us as you go by? We are there on 16 & 68.)

Harvey

When docking at Victoria, get a good spot at the stern when they back that baby into its 'slip'. An amazing feat!
