2000 C-Dory 16' Angler
2000 Honda 50 HP four-stroke outboard motor
2000 Single-Axle Galvanized Boat Trailer

Fernandina Beach (Amelia Island), Florida 32034
(30 minutes from Jacksonville, Florida)

Thank you for considering my boat for sale. I am a long-time Member of the C-Brats community and was a long-time Member of the original C-Dogs web site (another C-Dory community) before this fine C-Brats web site was started.

I stay busy doing night-time fishing charters, www.floundergigging.com, on a different boat (the Flounder Barge), and do not have the time to enjoy this nice boat as often as I would like. I have never done a charter on this C-Dory Angler and have used it exclusively for occasional personal enjoyment. This C-Dory Angler has under 80 low original hours on this economical yet powerful 2000 model year Honda 50 horsepower four-stroke motor.

This motor will start right up and runs excellent. All manuals on this dependable motor are included. The paint is glossy and the upholstery is in like-new condition.

Included is the EZ Loader galvanized boat trailer pictured. This boat, motor and trailer has been washed and the motor flushed after each use. The trailer buddy bearings are kept full of grease.

The Drivers and Passengers helm seats are in excellent condition and look barely sat in. These attractive seats are mounted on new Aluminum pedestals and have great maneuverability.

The rear bench seat in the cockpit has been custom-made, matches the front seats and custom boat canvas perfectly and is removable if necessary.

The boat weighs less than 1,000 pounds and can easily be pulled behind almost any car, small truck or even an RV. (The RV in the picture above and below is not included with the sale of the boat).

The rear bench seat in the cockpit has been custom-made and is removable if desired.

The line drawings of the 16' Angler will give an even better idea of how nice and open the layout of the boat is. Another nice feature is that the entire front area of the bow is completely enclosed and lockable for convenient and safe storage of your valuables (this lockable area is the area in front of the steering wheel show above).

The fiberglass hull is thick (up to 1-1/2"), sound and solid all over. The Honda outboard motor is powerful, runs strong and operates just as it should. The motor shifts in and out of gear effortlessly.

As one of the lightest 50HP 4-stroke outboard motors available on the market, this Honda engine powers many pontoons, aluminum fishing boats and bay boats. Exclusive features like auto start enrichment insure easy starts, quick warm up, and superior low speed trolling capability. And because it's a Honda, you can expect long-term durability and clean, quiet operation. If you're looking for smooth trolling and light, easy handling and incredible economy then this Honda 50HP is your engine.

Below are the factory Performance tests of the 16' C-Dory Angler with a Honda 40 hp motor. Your actual performance with the Honda 50 hp motor included with this boat may be slightly different.

You will get OVER 8 MILES PER GALLON with the C-Dory Angler and, at today's expensive prices of gas, this is a real benefit. How many other offshore, sea worthy boat on the market today can offer 8 miles per gallon?

Cabin boats by design are the most comfortable of all as you and your guests are protected from the elements of the sun, wind and salt spray all day long. As you cruise along in the shade, you will be enjoying the breezes through the two side windows and the rear of the cabin.

If the weather turns squally you have maximum protection from the driving wind and rain. You will actually find yourself enjoying the boat ride to your favorite fishing spot as much if not more than when you anchor and start fishing.

This boat has a salty, nautical look that is appreciated by on-lookers at the boat ramp each time I launch her.
Common Features

The boat's electrical systems include: Anchor light, running lights, horn, bilge pump, switch panel, fuse holders and ground terminals. (The switch panel has six circuits with four switches normally left unused.)

The cleats (4 each 6" & 1 each 8", S.S.) and the stainless steel handrails on the top and rear of the house, are all through bolted for maximum security. All top decks are a healthy 3/4" thick, downriggers or other equipment requiring a sturdy mount base can be bolted on any top walking surface.

The windows are of very high quality, with radius corner aluminum frames that have been powder coated. (like the ones in expensive yachts). The side windows open and a deck hatch in the bow opens for ventilation.

Both the cockpit sole and the top walk decks have a very aggressive non skid. The top deck’s nonskid is a molded in diamond pattern. The cockpit sole is coated in a Gel coat and sand finish that is renewable. All nonskid areas are tan or light gray in color to coordinate with the boats accent accent color.

The draft on this boat is incredibly shallow being only about 4" -6". This is because the bottom of the boat near the stern is almost completely flat (which also adds stability in open seas for which this boat is ideal). Shallow drafting is necessary and convenient when going up a shallow creek at low tide to cast-net over schools of prime mud minnows (perfect bait for flounder and red fish) or when launching the boat at dead-low tides.

The gunnels of the boat behind the cabin are extra-wide and allow plenty of room to walk on, set gear and other equipment while loading and unloading the boat, sitting on and feature a deeply grained non-skid textured pattern for sure footing.

Whether you want to go cruising with family or fishing with friends, this vessel will make you a wonderful boat. This highly-regarded C-Dory boat will give you many years of Performance, Style, Reliability, Quality and Value.

Enjoy more beautiful Sunsets by going boating in this beautiful and economical C-Dory!

Price - $11,500

Disclosure:
The new Owner of this fine boat will be thrilled with their purchase!

This boat has been sold to a nice young family from Bridgeton, NC. Many thanks to Tyboo and De Nag for allowing me to post my classified ad here on the c-brats web site which is the greatest web site in the world for a c-dory.

Mac, buy another C-Dory and/or stay with us! I think the boat sold because of your fantastic description. Congratulations!

Charlie,

Thank you very much. I'm sure another C-dory is in my future maybe even a Venture with a 175 like the one I've been talking the Marc at Wefings about. I just know he will give me a good deal Wink .
