Great video photography of the world's largest marine spectacle. I believe it's taken off the east coast of South Africa as winter arrives.

I found this written text while searching the possiblities of where this might occur. I thought first the Pacific coast upwelling zone outside of the Galapagos, but I think it's east coast of South Africa.

Thanks for sharing, the wife and I just watched the video. Both of us were thinking what a show! Nature can be more amazing than one can think. Those birds, little bullets....again just a amazing.

Agree just amazing Thumbs Up Jo-Lee and I watched it together too. Thanks much for sharing.

Never realized birds could fly so well under water until we visited the Newport, Oregon marine aquarium.

Just so you know, this footage is taken from "The Blue Planet Seas of Life," a 4 DVD collection that is produced by the BBC/Discovery Channel and narrated by David Attenborough. 5 years and $5million to produce. It is a worthy addition to any video collection.
