|
|
Hi, I fished B10 this last August and had a ball. Family came in from Florida, Arizona, and California to join me. We fished with Dave Perez of Hooked on Fishing who I have fished with many times in various locations and highly recommend.
However, as I wandered the docks behind the Red Lion in Astoria, I saw two CD-25's and saw even more CD's out on the water. Next year, I'd like to haul my CD-22 down from Port Orchard, WA and give it a go for a week.
Astoria seems like a long haul to where most of our fishing was done due to the flats but - I'll take any moorage I can get in the area - WA or OR. Can anyone give me contact information for likely, temporary, safe moorage in the B10 area? I would guess that it would be none too early to start locking that sort of thing in now for next August.
Thanks,
Dan |

www.portofilwaco.com is where we tie up. Moorage during the season can be hard to get so we sprung for annual moorage (just sent off the check for $240). This insures us a place to tie up and it's cheaper than the $12 a night they charge for transients. The last time I looked, they had no waiting list to speak of for moorage _________________ Ken
