Brock, Would love that. We can do. And if they don't open the gate maybe we will have to rent a submarine.

Gary, I hope I am posting the right one for you. I followed your link so it should be right, however, if I did it backwards, maybe it is looking due West
If this works I can tell you how I do it, but you would have to have the same 'puter, I-net connection and browser as I do.
Right Click on the photo in your album. (first be sure it is the size you want it to show in the thread), go to the line that says "copy image address" and left click on that one. Then go to the box you are wanting to post in, and right click. Go to "Paste" and left click. Then highlight that address line, and go up to the tool button row to the box that says "Img" and click on that.
You should get this: at the front and end of your image address. The address should end with a " .jpg "
One thing this game did for me was help me learn how to post images, and now, how to put them into my album.

Thank you Harvey. You got the picture right.
We tried that but if didn't work. Maybe it was our browser. We will check into that. |

On my HP laptop It wouldn't work with the "MS Edge" so went back to Chrome. All good now.

A couple of "tips" to add to Hardee's useful instructions:
1."Right Click on the photo in your album."
I recommend you right click on the actual photo, not the thumbnail that appears with all the other thumbnails of other photos in that album. That is, when you get to the album, and you see the thumbnail of the photo you want, click the thumbnail so that the full photo appears (at that point all you are looking at is the single photo you want). It will work if you do the thumbnail instead of the actual photo, but the posted image will be small and of low resolution if you do.
2. "...that says "copy image address"
All browsers I'm aware of have this function, but they don't all use these words. For example, Firefox calls this function "Copy image location", and Edge calls it "Copy image link". All browsers use similar words, so it is not too hard to figure which function you need. _________________ Sandy McKean

Looking forward to being on that very beach in the photo in two weeks.

Sandy and Gary (et al) I think the Edge use of the "copy photo link" uses a different link than the copy location. I know I went through a ton of gymnastics with edge and several tech support folks and we could not get edge to do it, so if there is anyone who is using MS Edge and using that phrase exactly please speak up. Thanks.
It seems to me I had another issue with Edge and C-BRATS, but it is not jumping up and down in my head just now.

Harvey,
I don't use Edge normally, but I just tested adding a photo from my albums into a test post to C-Brats using Edge. It worked fine.
Note you said the link is named "copy photo link". I don't find that wording in my copy of Edge v85.0.564.63 (64 bit) under Windows 10. In my Edge the link is named "Copy image link". |

Sandy, I don't use Edge, so was going from memory (bad idea for me
but I'm sure you are right in that it uses the "Image" moniker as there are more than just photos that can be transferred this way.
Sometime thing get foggy.

Yes, I know that spot well. But I just posted a pic, so will defer to someone else to guess this! _________________ 22' C-Dory Cruiser (2016)

Thanks Mike. Simple place, simple photo and not that far off the beaten path. A beautiful location often passed up by many but when the winds are good it is a nice place to be. |
