Susan and I would like to invite you all to the North Snohomish Coastal Conservation Association banquet on May 14th at Normanna Hall in Everett. The CCA is a non-profit organization, comprises 17 coastal state chapters spanning the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic and Pacific coasts. CCA’s strength is drawn from the tens of thousands of recreational saltwater anglers who make up its membership. From South Texas to the upper reaches of Maine to Puget Sound, CCA’s grassroots influence is felt through state capitols, U.S. Congress and, most importantly, in the conservation and restoration of our coastal marine resources. For more info on the CCA you can use this link. http://www.ccapnw.org/news.html.
The CCA banquet will be a catered dinner along with both a live and silent auction. We are raising money to support the expansion of the North West chapters. Susan and I would like to fill one table at the event with C-brats. Tickets are $55 each or Two for $100. I know that a few of you are already members of the CCA and if you are planning to go to the banquet we would like you to sit with us. There are eight seats to a table and we need at least 6 more to fill it up. If any of you would like to join us just let me know and we will set tickets aside for you. The tickets can be picked up at my office in Everett or I will spot you for them until the dinner.
I am helping to sponsoring the event by having the tickets printed and being the ticket chairman. If any of you would like to help sponsor the event by donating prizes for the auction that would be great. One C-brat has already donated a gift basket from my favorite brewery. Susan and I really believe that the CCA can finally make head way on reforming our fisheries. They have a proven track record on the East and South coast. So if you would like to help us expand our membership please come to the monthly meetings in your area. Thank you. _________________ Thomas J Elliott

That right the brew brother have donated a gift basket, that I have not picked up yet, but I can ttell you much about it. I am giving away 4 hand poured downrigger 12 lbs balls. I will post a up dated auction list as time goes by. We have a lot of custom rods and some other big dollar items. We will be giving away a week in Hawiai and a bunch of guided fishing trips. The planning board is still gathering donations for the auction. I hope to see some of you there. |

thanks peter, hey are you fishing the derby next week? I could not get tickets in time. I have heard that a lot of big hatchery fish have been landed in the last few weeks but no one is saying where or when. |
