Has anyone got an idea on a way to make Afi single speed wipers run in a delay sequence? My 2009 19 has electric wipers on two switches so at least I can run one side or the other. I've seen the comments on a momentary switch which could be done, but anyone done a intermittant like on cars? Maybe a rheostat 12 volt switch? |

rheostat is what you need, this device will work as a momentary like switch just wire inline and use dial for wiper timing, easy! _________________ My dream boat has arrived! |

I think a rheostat will just slow it down. It will take a special circuit like they have in cars that will pulse it once in awhile and then let it "park". Maybe a car place has one.... Since all cars have them now, finding one may be very hard.

Brilliant. How about a car windshield washer device to go with it. Although if you have seen my recent post regarding being in sunny 'warm' Florida may I suggest, after 10 days of 'f'ing cold that if I were here with my C, I would have to put anti-freeze in the bucket that holds the stuff'! |

Here is a circuit to DIY: http://www.techlib.com/files/wiperkik.pdf
Hella makes an intermittant switch: http://www.classicgarage.com/inwisw.html
So you have your choice--Radio shack or Classic garage. _________________ Bob Austin

Hey thanks everybody, there are some good ideas there. I'll tinker on it and keep you posted. I can hardly wait fo it to warm up here to get out there. Lakes are all frozen here around Nanaimo and that is a very rare thing. |

I'm up for 2 of the JC Whitney models. In rough water, I hate taking my hands off the wheel. _________________ I am the 125% I work so the 99% don't have to.
