Hi Bob.

Yes, those batteries are still going strong...it's amazing from all I read here but they function flawlessly and even the Wallas still.

I test them and maintain them and all seems fine. I am actually itching to change them for equal size batteries and the newer style!

Sadly, the road is the same, if not worse, from when you were here last.
I took the crossmember off and had it rewelded "better than new" and I can transport the boat now but the second crossmember is also cracked and needing repair. The first (front crossmember) was broken in two! at the 'v'.

Are you in Cali or FL now?

Planning Alaska this summer? I am feeling more confident to try that soon.
Trying to find a slip at the ocean to keep the Pelican at also.
Suggestions?
