To start i am the proud owner of a 19ft angler. For christmas i recieved a kodiak pf17 bait tank. the problem is it doesn't come with any kind of directions or any helpful hints on how to adapt it to the C Dory. i was wondering how to install or if this type of bait tank would even work for my boat. Right now i only have one battery and i figure i'll need a second battery to run the bait tank along with my other electronics. any ideas on how or where to install the bait tank and second battery.
Thanks,
Loren |

Loren-
Check out the bait tank I had on Fishtales- it was a Kodiak 17 tank.
I had a custom made SS mount made to set it on the engine well. I used a stern mount bait pump.
Yes- you should have a second battery. Use a battery switch that will give you (1)- (2) and (1+2) connections. When you are running, you can set the switch on (1+2) and charge both batteries. If you are anchored or drifting, set the switch on either (1) or (2) and save the other battery for starting.
Good luck and good fishing- _________________ Roger

I posted a 19 Angler bait tank installation that one of our customers did . Its an Aquaworld tank .He ran the drain out the drain for the bilge with the PVC pipe up over waterline . Pump over the transom type . Two batteries a must !. In the cruise ship #4 gallery at the end .
