Hey - that looks like the flower on Daydream, which is not a rose but a Scarlet Pimpernel...

One thing about procrastinators: We're predictable. Thought I'd wait till autumn to chime in on our wonderful Warrenton weekend.
I'd drive from here to there anytime to see our pals Bill and El. You folks are a very special duo, and I'm happy that so many of us could make it to see you. I wish you well in your further travels.
I owe some guys some thank yous, too. Tim, that free ticket to the Maritime Museum was the cat's meow. I spent an hour and a half there, and I could have easily spent twice that long. They booted me at 5 p.m.
Mr. Fisherman, Pat, and the Wine Guy I never met, thank you for the food and booze, and the good company. Nice to finally meet you, Mr. F. (See? I'm not such a whacko after all).
Larry, thanks for giving me a home and letting me sleep on your boat. I'm sorry about the crushed table, the gouge in the gelcoat and the torn curtains, but the transformation from left to right I made that night was quite a fright. Change isn't always pretty.
And before we cue the orchestra and go to commercials, I'd like finally to give a big thanks to our host with the most (gadgets), Tyboo. Because of Mike I'm no longer a Buoy 10 virgin. Now that I'm an authority, if any of you have any questions about Buoy 10, don't be shy about asking me. Mike took me for a cruise 11 miles west of Warrenton, where the ocean nearly meets the Columbia's mouth. I'd never had that experience, and it's one I'll long remember.
All of you are a super bunch of folks.

Yeah, if we had known the opportunity was there, we might NOT have gone to St Helens, we MIGHT have opted for the buoy 10 cruise, thanks a lot!

So sorry. If I had known the opportunity was going to be there, I would have mentioned it at breakfast. Didn't even think about it until I saw Brock looking all forlorn and lost on the dock.
You want B10?? Come on back in June, catch your sturgeon early in the day, and away we go. Matter of fact, if we find a good window in late June, we can shoot right past B10, hit the Pacific for some salmon, and then come back and snag up some sturgeon. If you have any energy left after that and the tide is right, maybe later we can go to the beach and dig some razor clams. _________________ TyBoo Mike

And as it turns out, it is a good thing you went where you went when you went there, because where you went might soon not be there to went to anymore!
SEATTLE, Washington (AP) --
A strengthening series of
earthquakes at Mount St.
Helens prompted seismologists
Sunday to warn that the once-
devastating volcano may see
a small explosion soon. |
