I've been shopping for a bimini for the mighty Lucky Day. Do any of you have experience with or have you heard anything about Ameri-Brand? They have a lot of offerings and appear to have good deals. Who are they? Are they reliable? I've never heard of them.

Are the bows aluminum or SS? Go for 4 bows for your size of top--will there be enough clearance for head room?
I am not familiar with the brand--but there are reasons to have a bimini custom built for the C Dory--with an awning rail on the top of the cabin, connecting the Bimini to the aft cabin top. _________________ Bob Austin

Had a Taylor Bimini (From WM or elsewhere) on my CD22 and have one now on the TC255. Good products, good factory support (I broke a fitting and they sent me a couple no charge very quickly). I just measured the beam and length of cockpit and ordered one off the shelf. The "standoffs" that hold it off the stern (or the cabin) are nice and allow you to stow it easily.
