Well alrighty then! Now Patty and I know Marc! We just spent a delightful part of our Saturday together in Snoqualmie, Marc drove out, we did the local sights and had a nice lunch at the Taproom! A few brews were involved! Marc is on his way back to Seattle right now, and then tonight back to Florida. Fun day, and looking forward to when we can make it to Apalachicola! _________________

Congrats on Lucky Fin. It sure looks great!
Quote: | Dee and I hung around the Tork Lift company in down town Kent. They specialize in fabrication of hitches and towing equipment. They are the best I have ever seen. We now can get in and out of our camper with a boat trailer on behind. They built a deck off the back on the hitch extension and the folding steps now come down off the side instead of the middle. A cargo rack underneath will carry a Honda gen set, ( 2000 watt ) and leveling blocks, etc. The new ( to us) 2004 Northern Lite is a 9 1/2 foot and 2000 lbs lighter, all fiberglass slide in.
| I would sure be interested in seeing pictures of this new step/platform you had fabricated. We are picking up a 2008 Northern Lite 10-2 this weekend. I've never owned a camper before and I am looking forward to trying it out soon. It would be great to hear any suggestions or ideas you have for towing behind the pickup/camper combination. I know you've been doing it for years with a number of different vehicles and I would certainly appreciate any thoughts ideas you may have.
Again congrats on Lucky Fin

Ron,
I posted some pictures in my album. It works better than I thought it would. The extra storage will come in handy for carrying a genset, cooler or leveling blocks.

I am back in Sunny Florida , and I want to thank Pat and Patty for showing me their beautiful town and their great little establishment [ including a brewery tour] ! The beer was fantastic and I have been known to enjoy a hand crafted beer or 10 on occasion . Theirs is as good as it gets ! The Lemondipity seasonal was delicious as well as Pat's Nitro IPA , but all were excellent. The food at the Taproom is exceptional as well, with an emphasis on quality . The falls were breathtaking and the view from the "point" was fantastic . I even got to meet Austin working at the local music store . Great folks . Its good to be a C Brat !!
We will look forward to having you all here in FL .
Thanks again,

Captd,
Thanks,
That looks like a very nice addition. Certainly makes getting in an out of the camper a lot easier. And that extra storage space will certainly come in handy. I think we'll use our camper as is for a while and see how everything works before I'll add anything to it.
Congrats again on Lucky Fin and thanks for the pics.

Dag nab it, Marc also got me all fired up for charcuterie and coffee roasting - got to find me a good West Bend Poppery II! Patty is already scoping out the beans to roast! |

Pat,
Your brewery got a shoutout in the November issue of Skiing Magazine. "My favorite move is to skull a few Snoqualmie Brewery IPA's..." at the North Bend Bar and Grill, after skiing at Alpental. |

CaptD,
I checked out the photos of that beautiful boat in your album - gorgeous! I hope our paths will cross one day; sure would like to meet you in person and get the grand tour.
Have fun with the new boat!
Best wishes,
