For Glenmcrae and Warren (Doryman),
Here's the gazpacho recipe. I made a quadruple recipe for the CBGT. I use a food processor for all the chopping, chop each ingredient separately and put everything, including juice, into a large bowl while doing the next ingredient. I don't worry about getting every last seed or piece of skin off of every ingredient.
1 medium cucumber peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
1 small onion coarsely chopped
1/3 packed cup fresh parsley leaves coarsely chopped
2 1/2 lbs ripe tomatoes peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
1 can V8 juice
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
3 Tbs Extra Virgin olive oil
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped (Note: if you are going to serve the gazpacho over 2-3 days consider reducing the amount of jalapeno slightly as it gets hotter over time)
2tsp salt
mix everything together in a large bowl and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
Enjoy. _________________ Patti and Barry

Ruth and Joe,
Great job! You always set the bar higher every year. That must be why folks keep coming back for more. Thanks for all your hard work.
We hope to see you and lots of other Brats at Sequim Bay State Park in just 3 weeks. _________________ Roger

There was another C-Dory visitor overnight in B'Ham. Boat's name is MERCY out of San Pedro. They only signed up for one night (14th) so they're already gone.

We visited with Chas on "Mercy" at the Kanaka Visitors Wharf in Ganges on Friday. (Obviously, didn't see your post until this morning).
Since so many have posted before me about this gathering, I'll only reiterate what a fantastic time we had at this gathering. Many thanks to Joe and Ruth for their hospitality in organizing this, to Pat and David for the Snoqualamie Falls beer keg, to Jeremiah for his home brew beer and to Lee for sharing the Squalicum Yacht Club with us for the Sat. night potluck.
Naturally, these wouldn't be such great events, if it weren't for the many members of the C-Brat Family! _________________ Dave S.
