Islander-

I've had both superfast results and some no-go's!

The server seems to load up really fast, but if your files are too big (too many pixels or bytes), it won't take them at all.

As we've discussed before, you have to downsize the file size to get them accepted.

I had to put them on a free photo hosting site, then copy them onto my computer in the downsized form, then transfer them to my album.

For posting on a thread, they can be copied over from the hosting site with just the address.

I've had a couple emails requesting the recipe for the baked halibut we served at the dinner after the cruise Sunday.

Well done cruise and barbecue. Finally found me a mate that's the near perfect companion, and that everyone else seems to enjoy as well.....Muffin!! We both had a great time. Monday to Thursday camping in the Sierra's....Saturday & Sunday on the water in Santa Barbara.....can't beat it.

I downloaded 13 of your pictures Ron (Islander), about 10 secs for every 5 photos. Of course your photos were already reduced to about 50kB by the AOL album, that probably made it very easy. There are more to do...! Thanks, great shots.

While we were in Santa Barbara we met an older gentleman, an Irsihman, that was on his way home to Ireland. He stopped and talked with us and showed us his boat "Culin". John Long was 78 years old when he left Santa Barbara to sail around the horn and make his way up the Atlantic to Ireland.
Sad to say he did not make it home

We will definitely be in SB on Saturday with C-Pup. I'll work on Kimiko to take Friday off from her new job, but I doubt that she will since she just started it and is grateful to have work. Oh how I do want to see the painted caves! Maybe I'll ask her to take a Greyhound bus up the coast on Saturday so that C-Pup can join the flotilla on Friday. ~ Keith
