Hey Bill and Ed: Well, Marc should be back from the Atlanta Boat show... We had a great number of folks looking at the C-Dory boats, and, as we expspected, many of them the 1st time they saw a C-Dory..
Hope you got checked out today and back underway soon. Keep smiling, keep traveling.
Several of use southern owners are headed up to the NW next week for the Seattle Boat Show to see many of our other owners again...and of course the wonderful factory visit. This visit should for sure be interesting this year with all that has taken place, and the year of C-Dory life in front of us.
Bill.... you and Ed are doing what C-Dory boats should be built to do....travel....and travel safely. Keep it up my man....and keep us posted. Please let me know when/where you two descide to pull out. If any way possible, Brigner and myself will help your lovely bride get your tow vehicle and trailer down to you.

Day 18 Wednesday January 17,2007--Mile 862
N29° 47.029 W084° 39.012
We are anchored at Dog Island east of Apalachicola.
Finally, got away from Apalachicola about 3:00 PM this afternoon. The only thing bent was the propeller. Got a new one put on and runs great. Have been watching the weather closely. Hope we can get a few miles under us tomorrow.

The night was a little rough waves rocked the boat all night.

Day 20 Friday January 19,2007--Mile 1085
N28° 10.621 W082° 47.357
We are anchored on the Anclote River in Tarpor Springs, FL. with three sailboats and two larger boats. A public park and docks are near but no one using them.
Ed was feeling better today no sickness. We should have smooth sailing from here on. We will be on the ICW and protected waters.

Day 21-Saturday, January 20, 2007--Mile 1155
N27 26.346 W82 40.627
Anchored at Longboat Key south of Tampa Bay. Several other boats anchored in the same waters. This must be a good spot for so many others to anchor here, also.
We found a few marinas but were ratty looking. Ed is doing much better after the seasickness.

When you guys get to Okeechobee, be sure and stop at Lightsey's by the Kissimmee River Canal on the north rim (you can stay there, it's a park). Excellent meals and reasonable prices. _________________ >Film: C-Dory Buyers Guide< |

Whatever it sure is neat to hear from you along the way...much more fun than a "after trip" report.... kinda like we'all are with you...especially with Uncle Bill's good places to eat comments.... Oysters...never tried one, but someday with enough beer I will...
Thanks for the reports... kinda makes sitting here at home less painful..

I second Joels comment!
If I could I would load up and head for Florida today. Maybe in a couple of years I can take the time to drive east and see these from my boat.

Bill,
Your anchored at the Cape Coral bridge. Also, don't worry about the weather now your in Florida, for you will find it is always perfect. Now the wind may pick up a little from time to time and a few mild cold fronts will move through, but they go by fast.
You guys need to slow down and enjoy the sights...your moving way to fast.
