Oh yea, boating. Forgot about that part. Of course, technically, that's just an additional venue for further eating and drinking. _________________ Allen & Genie |

Bill and Becky, welcome to the site! I had planned to come but my bride has an art show opening on Saturday night that I really have to attend. Used to live in Jacksonville (1970-73) when I was in the Navy. You'll like the CBGT (CBRAT Gathering). Hope you find a boat you like. If you decide on a TomCat, I happen to have a spare one!
Enjoy!

Things are coming together , we have a few boats here already , including Two Bears from Idaho!Ill think they'll win the distance award by road .Rich E. Is here by water from Pascagoula, MS. ,Bill and Brenda are here from Arkansas, Little Tug Boots [John and Boots] are here from White Springs Fl , and the cast will grow larger tomorrow . Have a number of folks that will be new to the whole C-Dory and Ranger Tug experience . I hope they become as enamored with the boats and the people as I have , and learn from the owners about the joys of boating !And gatherings !

Today starts the Gathering! Looks like we're in for some beautiful weather with just a slight chill. I'm excited for my first gathering and meeting all the C-Dory, Ranger Tug, and "interested in" folks. I will be making a gumbo tonight. I will be answering questions that I can but I have a feeling yall will have a lot to teach me. lol. I know we're going to have a great time and build some great relationships. _________________ Dominic Hebert

Friday was a great start to the gathering. The venue at Rivercrest has an old-south feel with an Apalachicola ambience. Dominic's gumbo was delicious, the Apalachicola oysters were delightful, and the comradery was fantastic. I think that the boat count so far is C-Dory 11, Tom Cat 1 (seen on Scipio Creek but hasn't made the gathering), Ranger Tug 3, and Dirt Dory 1 (Dr. Bob's RV). Three folks came on motorcycles, two from Daytona Beach and one from Cypress,TX (long ride!). Many thanks to Anita, Marc, and Dominic for the hard work in putting this together! We really appreciate you! Looking forward to the rest of the weekend! _________________ Jim |

The 5th--almost annual--Gulf Coast Gathering was a great success. Cindi and I had a wonderful time. We met a lot of good people, Brats, Tug Nuts, and hopefully Brats/Tug Nuts to be. The food, entertainment, and boating were fantastic. Dr. Bob took a bunch of pictures; I hope he will post them soon. Thanks again to Anita, Marc, Dominic, Danny, and everyone else that had anything to do with making this event happen. We are looking forward to number six next year! |

I just want thanks all of the folks who came to our event ! It was a great time ,with a great group of C Brats and Tugnuts . We will do it again next year for sure ! I am looking forward to some pictures from the folks with cameras and would like some good ones for our website . Feel free to send them . I hope the folks that wanted to see some examples of different models got their wish, and caught the bug as well . The cruising bug that is . We provide regular bugs as well here in Fl.
Thanks for all that attended . Our new boats didn't make it in time ,but they will be here in a few weeks and they are doing a typically great job at Triton building them .
Domenic and I are off to Ft Lauderdale ,to do the big show with Ranger Tugs . Ill see a few of you there !
