It is interesting that you say the mud/sand would ruin them. Sure you may need to clean up the leading edge of the impeller on occasion but ruin them? I know guys who put hundreds of hours on pumps in the rivers here and run in very shallow water on a regular basis and I've never heard of one being ruined. I've only heard of needing to clean up the impellers on occasion.
I've run my sled in shallow water quite a bit and the impeller is still in good shape. _________________ Gary Johnson
