Sounds like everyone thinks the tomcat 24 can handle the weight and power of the zuke df140 just fine….

Plus one for the df140. I’d take advantage of the high resale value of your low hour 100’s. My buddy had the same yami 100 and lots a few weeks and really out a damper on his season last year.

The F100 just hit Craigslist. Done chasing problems. And all local Yamaha repair shops backed up for months

Almost caught whole boat on fire last lake trial

I have the 175 zukes on my Tomcat 255 and wish I went to 200. Zuke 140's would be bad ass on that 24.

Now the question will be what props…… with the df140???

Easy to find large 4 blade for the df175….

Hard to find 4 blade large diameter in SS with a RH and LH……

We went from 2002 Honda 90s (carbed) to used 2012 DF140’s on our TC24 five years ago and have no regrets.

I have a TC24 with twin Honda 135's (I bought Tim's boat from the "growing up salty" videos. If (when) I re-power, I will look for something lighter, possibly Yamaha 115 or maybe the suzuki 140's (almost 140lb less for the pair)
The boat has plenty of power with the 135's, but when standing at the back of the cockpit, water tends to come in through the scuppers and the waterline looks a little wonky even at rest. The excess weight on the stern partially submerges the fiberglass rail on the outside of the hull. My friend in town has a TC24 with twin 115's and the boat looks very well balanced.

Got most all the controls and gauges (smg4) installed this winter. Hopefully the Suzuki df140 show up in a few weeks.
Starting with Suzuki 13x22p ss props

I’ve ended up pretty much stripping everything of this tomcat, also this boat was not setup for fishing.
.fairly Well taken care of, but everything was 20 years old.
All new electronics. New steering. New wallas, stereo, radar arch, rod holders etc.
