We've left the Vegas parties, and now in the Colorado galas ... anyway, we bought one of those backpacking "egg-carton" mattresses, put it atop the v-berth, cut it to fit, and it's great. The egg-carton shape avoids most of the moisture problem. Not one of those fancy memory foams, but it works fine. _________________ El and Bill (former live-aboards)

If I make a hat out of one of those, will it help me remember stuff?
My bride would buy me one if that were so...... _________________ CHARLIE and PENNY CBRAT #100

Looking into purchasing one of the memory foam toppers. I really have a problem with shoulders and hip bones getting sore while sleeping.
I wanted to check in and see if people were still happy with their memory foam? Anyone having any problems with mildew, etc.?
Thanks!

We've had ours since last summer and have had no problems so far. We love it. You can wash the foam with water and let it air dry so if you keep the boat ventilated, you shouldn't have a problem with mildew. We even had a leak in the hatch that got our bedding wet, but didn't hurt the topper. |

We just added one to the susan e. this year. Last year I had problems with my hips and could not get a full nights sleep. I would be sore in the hips and sometimes shoulders. This year is different. I sleep all night and I am pain free in the morning. I just love the new topper. _________________ Thomas J Elliott
