Helm Seat

Here's my new seat. I moved it over to give the throttles room. The seat is a few inches higher than the stock seat. I have plenty of legroom at 6'3".

I used a seat from a mobility scooter, there's a lot of styles out there, they fit the narrow 22 footer, and fold down. I found mine on a junked out scooter.

ssobol….. I have the same issue. Leg room is at minimum on my 22. I usually sit at a slight angle and rest my feet on a cooler while cruising.

I found, purchased and installed a new helm seat. Chuck of Two Bears got my brain spinning, but I wanted a cloth seat that was not black, After almost buying a $600 custom yacht seat, I searched one last time, as the yacht seat did not meet every requirement that I was aiming for.

Tractor supply has a fine seat that met all but the cloth requirement. I found the very same seat on eBay that had cloth and was even able to negotiate the price (under $300)...

The seat is very comfortable and now can also accomodate other helmsman of various heights and comfort preferances.
