As of last week the molds were still up at the old Monroe plant and hadn't been brought down to the new one yet. _________________ David and Kate

I just got word that our boat is completed. It will be trucked to the Bay Area later this week. The engines are already here.

TyBoo,
Thanks for setting up the photo album! What a guy! Even reads BETWEEN the lines.
Spoke on the phone with Jeff for the first time -- he says the hull and deck of my boat are ready to be joined, but they need to replace the mold for the high-top roof for the 22. He asked how tall I am -- I imagine it doesn't help having the boat at this stage when everything is this busy and have my boat waiting on a new mold. This will put the schedule back about two weeks, but I was glad to hear from him and at 6'-1", I'll be waiting for the new mold. No, no, not that kind of mold!
This is a GREAT board! Thanks again,

I think David is headed down today (Wednesday, 4/13), and Patty or I will be going down Friday, we'll keep an eye out for your boat...

Thanks,

Just got back from the factory. Found and took pictures of Anna Leigh, a black 22 for Denkel, green 25 for Brooks and grey 25 for Irvin. I have sent the pictures to each of you already. Daydream evidentally was shipped with some other boats to the Monroe plant for some work up there. |

Same here! Nice pictures! Thanks!
Tonight I needed to leave right after dinner, but dinner was running late and just when it was ready I received your e-mail with the photos. So I gulped down dinner and returned to the computer only to find an e-mail from Valkrye -- while answering that I received another e-mail -- read that, answered it, finished the dishes and ran out the door. So, sorry if those e-mails were a little rushed.
The only thing I can figure on my boat is that either they put the standard-heigth top on the boat by mistake, or more likely the delay with the hi-top mold forced them to proceed with the standard top and they will have to start a new hull for me. If Twin Bridges gets sold out before my boat is delivered I'll shed some real tears -- I wasn't going to get a trailer, yet.
What ever happened to spring? Was that what we had back in February?

Monroe?? Daydream is in frickey-dickey MONROE???? I guess that is good if it means progress instead of sitting outside marinating. Hmmm...would have been nice if they had told us though, we who have faithfully come down to Auburn every Friday since it went in the mold - could have made a useless trip down to Auburn tomorrow. Of course, it might be back. Guess we'll have to call and ask. Scott - you reading this, bud?
