"Anita Marie" We are moving up in boat size.

Fred & Robbin,

We were concerned when we read your post that you're selling the Anita Marie but we recalled the conversation we had with you on the dock at the Boats Afloat Show. You'd mentioned a larger boat that you liked but neither Joe or I could remember which one it was. Didn't expect it to happen so soon, though. Best wishes to you in your new adventure.

Is dock space ever going to be tighter at cruises now.

If you are truly "moving" to a larger vessel.....how many more anxious moments do we have to wait for the details? Rolling Eyes (Inquiring Minds Want to Know).. Mr. Green

Oh for goodness sake, I thought Fred was only this obtuse at home! It's not that dramatic, we're getting the 25' Nomad from Les. I saw it last weekend as we were returning from Cornet Bay and said, "Hey, all the other kids are getting bigger boats and darnit I want one too!"

It was the icy dock and 1/4 mile walk to the loo in Everett at Christmas that did it. Too many Cocktail and a portapottie... You know the rest.

I do hope someone finds the Anita Marie as special as we do... It will be very hard to let her go after all the work Fred's done. I suspect that's where the "heavy heart" rhetoric came from.

I'll post pictures on the Anita Marie album (we'll keep the name) shortly.

Larry, Nomad is the color. Thanks fo all the nice words from everyone. Robbin is pretty persuasive when she puts her mind to it. I am sad about letting go of the Anita Marie but things have a way of working out.

Fred & Robbin
So thats what a nomad looks like. Very nice. When do you take delivery, what options are you getting, and the big question, one motor or two?
Congratulations Thumbs Up and good luck with the sell of Anita Marie I

Fred,

Pat, Patti, Lyle and Shelly and I were on "your" new boat today. Measuring, calculating, thinking, and sorry about the footprints on the windows. But SOOOOO much room to run about in there.

Fred and Robbin -

You guys are just too cool. We are very happy for you.

You will really like the new boat for the type of use you both enjoy the most. Like I have pointed out before, there are very real advantages to the CD 22, but there are also many advantages of the CD 25 that are just not possible with the 22. It is amazing how much bigger those 10 extra inches of width make the boat. Amazing. I really miss some of the TyBoo22, but now that our family is growing, there is no other boat we would want but the TyBoo25.

Congrats!

And by the way, Fred. I split this topic off from your original ad posting, because it was taking over. I was afraid that by the time you read through all the posts, you might end up buying the Anita Marie22 yourself, or even more likely, Robbin would buy it for your Christmas present.

If you prefer to have the thread restored to the typical C-Brat state, you'll have to ask Da Nerd to do it, because I have no idea how. Durn lucky to get this far.

Now don't be bugging Les. You know how he likes to talk, and the more time he spends doing that, the less time he has for your boat. (That's the real reason Dusty only spends five minutes a day up there. He always has a new boat in the works.)

Yeah, David Lyle, Shelly get your grubby feet off the boat, only kidding Laughing . David I know your going to make something to level off the storage under the sink. What will it cost me for you to make one extra?
