Lots of noise tonight, waterfalls all around Kwatsi Bay. It rained all night and has fueled all the spectacular falls in this bowl surrounding Kwatsi. Pot Luck dinner on the dock, new friends to talk boats and cruising with, doesn't get much better. On to Lagoon cove tomorrow, then maybe on to home.

Ate breakfast at the parking lot at JW marina this morning, and saw 2 C-Dory's there, the Mary Ellen and an unnamed 16 out crabbing, (saw them twice today). If you were coming home today, it would have been a perfect day to cross, and maybe see a sub. Olympic Venture was warming up and there were a couple dozen uniforms in the parking lot.

Travel safe, and enjoy,

Harvey

Our day started in Farewell Harbor at 0615, at 0635, off to Port McNeill at warp speed. Clear skies and smooth water were a real blessing. Loaded up onto the trailer and came down Island, also at warp speed. Due to traffic, we pulled into the Coho staging area as the 3:00 sailing pulled out. We walked around Victoria and caught the 7:30 sailing. 9:45 we pulled into the driveway. Going to bed pretty early tonight after a toddy! Good to be home. Tomorrow, the dirty, dirty boat!

Roger,

This is probably the sailboat you were talking about. We saw it just South of Wrangell on August 1 on our way to Anan Bear Observatory. We didn't see too many sailboats that size. We were impressed enough that we took a picture of our screen with their AIS information.
