I had a thought regarding our willingness to help promote the factory and C-Dory boats. Most of us have the C-Dory or TomCat logos on the rear corner of the cabim, some with old factory information below. I, for one, would be willing to add a small decal below the logo that reads like this.

Roger,

I have the black and gold raised C-Dory logo without any Mfg info. would be glad to put something like that on SleepyC.

Another very popular and eye catching device would be a window sticker for the tow vehicles, 4" X 8" or so with a recognizable product and name. Anybody ever notice anything from a rather boisterous motorcycle outfit on a pick up before Shocked Question I'd be there are few days that go buy that you DON'T see a HD sticker of some sort go by. OH, if you were thinking Honda, no wonder you couldn't remember. Embarassed

I had business cards done at no charge to the parent company. I hand them out to interested onlookers. I have a picture of the card we hand out somewhere in my album. I can't imagine someone interested in a C-Dory would not have the computer (free Library) and the where with all to goggle the name. My card is easy to change if the world does not stay the same. I've always been kind of funny about dealers etc. putting their name on my cars, trailers etc. Nice idea, but I think what I do already is pretty decent and cost efficent for Triton. How about a tatoo? C-Borne with a little parachute holding a C-Dory. Smile

Damn, Charlie you are on the stick, Is Cod Creek off the Bush River? If it is you appear to be living in a restricted area. I am reading a book on the Chesapeake and I saw a Cod Creek shown on the Bush River. Thanks for posting the picture. I worry about posting too many pictures with my posts. The name narcissist sometimes rears it's ugly head. Besides I don't know how to do it. Didn't mean to get off track here.

No Dave. There are two Cod Creeks on the Potomac (that I know about), on the lower Potomac between Lewisetta Marina on the Coan River and Smith Point where the river hits the Bay. We're on the Virginia side. I'll try to post a snippet of a chart on an edit.

You might want to change to the newer style raised "C-Dory" logo but I don't think you want to say that a boat that was NOT manufactured by Triton Marine was "manufactured by Triton Marine," would you?

Pat,

I tend to agree with your analysis. I would expect Triton would also agree. They would not want their data on a boat made several mfgs. back in history of which they had no part of.
I have the raised C-DORY logo on my boat but the little words are from the selling dealer "Three Rivers Marine" in Fla.

Today I uncovered my boat for the season....finally. It was a little grungy from setting for 7 mo. but it washed off ok.
The windshield wipers do not work??? They worked when I put it away. Fuse and switch ok. ?????? Also the anchor light in in-op. No big deal as I never anchor in the dark.

Pat, You might be right about the "who dunnit" but I still think that Trition could do a C-Dory logo type sticker for the pull rigs that would be a nice show off, eye catcher and functional. Price in quantity probably less than a buck a piece. And it is advertising budget to them.

The raised C-Dory logos are no longer used by the factory.
