My prediction... Trump will form a third party in 2024. The base support of the "Trump Party" will be larger then the Democrat and remaining Republican parties combined. _________________ Paul |

Oops... what I intended to say was that the Trump party will get more votes than either of the votes split between the Republican and Democratic parties. |

After much consideration, if Trump wins now in 2020, I'll run in 2024.
I know. I know.
I don't have experience in politics.
In fact I hate politics.
I would become the oldest president, if elected.
They say with age, comes wisdom...
I have a history, and have dabbled in womanizing.
So have previous presidents and that would be only a pipe dream now,
so no worry.
I used to like being around friends and other people.
COVID-19 changed that.
I'm not that organized.
My wife takes care of just about everything.
I thrive under stress.
It brings about the best in me.
I hate really big explosions.
That said, please start sending campaign contributions.
I promise to use them wisely.

Foggy for President.
He never sees clearly as his head is often in the low lying clouds.
He won't be confused by the facts. His main interest is messing about in boats.

Can we get back to boating in C-Dory boats?
Just hoping!
PS if I read the results correctly, only about 66% of eligible voters actually voted.
If that is correct, then either party should be trying to convince and persuade that vast majority to join their party and vote, for it for their own self interests!.
Stay mellow, friendly, kindly and open minded as this all plays out, my friends!

"about 66% voted"--that is actually a very high number. The interesting one is Wisconsin, where almost 90% voted...and some other interesting numbers of initially registered voters, vs actual registered voters etc.
Trying to get people out to vote Is what the majority of the advertising is about! _________________ Bob Austin

Hey, it's over the voting,
Can't we just get back to boating?
First, one day of gloating,
Is this a great country or what? |

My prediction....on January 21st, Mr Trump will be slapped with a number of indictments both state and federal. The primary charges will be obstruction of justice (see Mueller report), money laundering (see Deutsche Bank scandal), and perhaps tax evasion (see Grand Jury subpoenas for his tax returns). If he indeed manages to avoid conviction on all those indictments, then I agree with you.....except I think he will not form a completely new party, but instead he will form a "populist" challenge within the Republican party. His immediate action will be to buy a news network (OANN?) which will compete with FOX News and will broadcast material as a sort of combo of his Tweeter account and NewsMax programming. (note: his friend who owns NewsMax is going to discover what a fickle friend Trump can be). _________________ Sandy McKean

Not only did we have a very high turnout (relatively speaking), but we also registered a lot more new voters on election day. At least in our district. I can't remember our exact number for the district I work in, but we already had approx 2100 registered voters, and we registered like another 130 or so on November 3. I don't know why folks won't register ahead of time, as it is so easy. As a poll worker, it's kind of a pain and slows down the process a bit when we have to add them to the roll book as they then sign in to vote. BTW, I believe our city actually hit 92%. Now, back to boating, as requested:
My prediction is it's going to be a slow boat
back to unity and sanity in this country, if they
ever existed in the first place.
Aye.
