Hey Greg, at least one of those holes isn't aligned and a few are smaller then the rest. You better finish that top and send it to me so it won't embarrass you
Can't wait to see what the final product looks like.
I give it three beers up so far _________________

Hey Greg! Cool stuff with yur hardtop set up. Spent some time pondering your site too... looken at the fuel tank set up... Send some details of your "hamburger box" set up. You got me wanting to just start cutting out the back end of my 18 Anger.... Norm and I had been bouncing around ideas for saddle tanks on our 18s too... Like you say...just not a lot or room on the floor with the other tank set ups.
Watching your welding project appears like you are enjoying your new toys.... Guess fishing pole projects have slid way on back.... grin. I aint going to be doing any fishing till around Jul06 it looks like. Then, going out to Oregon and getting on board with Mr. Fisherman for a nice tuna run....or 3.
Like that 10-22 canon lens too. Cool.

Wahoooo ... now that is a sledheads sled to-be-sure-mon!!
I have a ton of new progress on the top to post, but can't get the time right now.
Byrdman, or anyone interested: I recreated that burger-box mounting. This time out of 2-inch stainless pipe! It is going to be my most beautifully-crafted welded-thingy to date!! ----------------- so, my old one is for sale!! I'll take a buck and a half for it "150.$ (that's a real steal) it is (I'm pretty sure anyway) "shippable" but hopefully there is an Alaskan wanting it, you can just come on by here, and get it The thing is adjustable too-boot! and of course practical indestructible! looks right nice when all painted-up too!
Thing is; I came across a crapload of mola lately ($) (OK- just kiddin) I have this great sponsor to help fund my inventions and projects, so I dreamed-up a new and completely stunning new "burger contraption" thingy, for the RedFox, that will match-better, my new stainless-pipe hard-top. (too much blabbin again - I know) So, I better end this post, and get to gettin more firewood today - it's ten below here in S-Anchorage, and I'm freshouta wood now! arrg!
Greg
Also: Peep wanting on my old site "Sound Dreams" you have to tell me --- who in tarnation ya are!! and "post" to stay on. Don't want no more eves droppers over there, and I just kicked a few of them off today! (hehehehe)
I turn down empty applications. Trying to keep the place more "friendly" that way. And believe me youz --- I ain't trying to "divide this site" (I could not keep up with a super busy site anyway) and I'm sure Mike and Bill won't think anything bad about you, if you do post on either one of my sites and not here ---- grow up!!
To all the members here that met me, and don't take the worst into consideration --- thanks! and here's to more fun online.

Do you think those supports are gonna support your weight up there?
I don't think I should try jumping up and down on it.
I sure wish you lived around teh corner . Thsn I could come by to get daily progress reports adn drink a few |

LOL ... yes, without-a-doubt Ray! And thankyou Steve. You know, it is overkill, but what I really was after with this concept was more "realestate" Never did care too much for sprawling-out on the cabin-top - too round and not enough room for two.
I actually do have it up there, I'm just making the rear-mounts now. I'll do-up another page soon enough. arrg! |

Gregg,
very nice looking top! what is the covering material for the top?
It looks like it could be fiberglass.
